Mean Greens Gets "A" Rating from Peta2
Animal advocacy group, peta2, gave UNT an "A" rating on its Vegan Report Card for going “above and beyond to provide all students with exceptional vegan food." Out of 65 Texas schools listed on the peta2 website, UNT was one of the only two schools to receive an “A” rating. It is also the only university in Texas with that top grade and to be listed on the organization’s “Deans List” for making “exceptional strides in vegan dining on campus,” according to the peta2 website.
